And, if the newer systems can shutdown and boot faster than they can hibernate/wake up, then that is a sign that there’s a problem with hibernate/wake up in those systems. I recommend running your tests again, but also include the time … I have been running Windows 7 RC on my T60 (2613-EAU) with a Hitachi 7k320 disk drive and Lenovo’s beta Windows 7 drivers for months.
